New Jersey’s Monmouth Mall, located at the intersection of Route 35 and Route 36 in Eatontown, is billed as New Jersey’s 5th largest shopping mall. Located in the general area of Sun Eagles Golf Course, it’s no surprise that the Monmouth Mall features shops such as Macy’s, Lord and Taylor, and Abercrombie and Fitch. Cinema buffs will appreciate the fifteen-screen Lowes Movie Theater located at mid-level; it’s the perfect place to take a load off after much mall shopping and browsing.
The seven hundred seat food court in Monmouth Mall includes Cajun, Japanese and good ol’ American fast food. Gamers and movie buffs will be pleased with Monmouth’s selection—everything from the Suncoast Motion Picture Company to EB Games is represented here. Like many other malls, there is an active calendar of events, from the usual holiday photo centers to sports-autograph signings. Monmouth Mall has a busy schedule!
Monmouth Mall has a good cross-section of shops, and while the upscale Macy’s does have a presence, this isn’t a shopping mall that caters strictly to that clientele. JC Penney’s and the Burlington Coat Factory, along with the previously mentioned EB Games and other shops are perfect for any needs, whether you’re making birthday shopping lists or getting ready for a major purchase.
Monmouth Mall has some good customer service features that set it apart from some of the competition, wheelchairs, a coat check and shopping bags are provided as complimentary services. There’s even a mall gift certificate program for shoppers who just can’t decide on the perfect gift.
Monmouth Mall is open from 10 am to 9:30 pm Monday through Saturday, and from 11 am to 7 pm on Sundays.
