Bridgewater Commons Mall

Bridgewater New Jersey

The colors and shopping contained in the three levels of Bridgewater Common Mall are inviting,  so to the teens who pack the seven screen movie theater and the fully loaded food court on the uppermost floor. This is not to say, however, that the Bridgewater Common Mall is only their hang-out. In fact, Bridgewater Commons Mall skews more to the high end of the luxury retail market. Stores like Bose, Coach, and Godiva, reflect the relative and rising wealth of the surrounding towns. Families and shoppers from the upper-middle class are thick in the corridors both on the weekends and during the week.

One of the peculiar features of Bridgewater Commons Mall is that the stores are zoned. Through either accident or design the majority of the luxury and high-end stores are located on the main level and less expensive stores up above. This can make targeting one’s spending plans a little easier, if they know their way around. First time or infrequent visitors may find themselves detoured through sections they could otherwise avoid. If you have ever been to Paramus Park Mall in Paramus, NJ, you will find the lay out very similar, two long halls meeting at an atrium in the center. However Bridgewater Commons Mall is, as said above, three stories to Paramus Park’s one.

There are three anchor stores at Bridgewater Commons, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Bloomingdales. That is in addition to the 160 stores ranging in everything from clothing, accessories, cosmetics, entertainment, electronics, books, games, luggage, specialty foods, and, for the truly eclectic, a Lego store. Bridgewater Commons Mall and surrounding stores can be found at the intersection of I-287 and routes 22, 202, and 206. The Bridgewater Common Mall’s hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am to 9:30 pm, and Sunday’s 11 am to 7 pm.
